Legal Hub Victoria Inc. was started in Wheelers Hill in 2026 to close the justice gap for people navigating family separation without a lawyer.
60% of people at Oakleigh Magistrates’ Court are self-represented. 51% of Monash residents speak a language other than English. Many are women leaving family violence. They can’t afford $500/hour but can’t wait 8 weeks for Legal Aid.
We provide the missing piece: plain-language legal information that helps you understand court, prepare documents, and use a lawyer’s time effectively.
If you need help understand Law, we are here to help. Contact us today to schedule a consultation with one of our support members.

As set out in our Rules of Association:
Advance education by providing legal information and court navigation support;
Promote social welfare through gender-responsive, culturally safe programs;
Reduce barriers to justice via multilingual resources and warm referrals.

Safety First: Trauma-informed, MARAM-aligned practice
Access: No one refused service due to money, language, or visa status
Clarity: No jargon. We explain the law, not what you should do
Respect: All families, all cultures, all genders welcome

Our Team of Public Officer, Wheelers Hill resident with lived experience of self-representation and having strong community sense to work with and help the community. Program Coordinator: LLB qualified, 5 years community legal education
